How it is calculated
after platform fee = revenue × (1 − fee)
with agency = after fee × (1 − commission) or after fee − revenue × commission
without agency = after fee − software − replacement work
break-even = (with agency + software + replacement work) ÷ (1 − fee)
The break-even point answers the question worth asking: how far may revenue fall before leaving the agency leaves me worse off than today. Your own time is reported separately so it cannot hide the operational saving.
